Germany ease into Nations League finals with 2-0 win over Hungary
Goals from Florian Wirtz and Kai Havertz sealed a comfortable victory for Germany in their Nations League semi-final against Hungary on Tuesday.
Wirtz gave the Germans a dream start by scoring inside the game's opening seven seconds, the fastest ever goal in the competition's history.
Kai Havertz then added a second shortly after the restart to put the result beyond doubt and send Germany into the final where they will face either Spain or Italy.
Germany were dominant throughout the match and could have won by a more comfortable margin, but they will be happy with their performance ahead of the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
